In addition, Knight’s lawyer, Thomas Mesereau, submitted a video of the event from TMZ as evidence, but the court has not officially recognized it as evidence in the case.

Did Floyd Mayweather Really Post Suge Knight’s Bail?

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A judge refused to lower bail Friday for former rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight after determining his lawyers had not presented any new circumstances that would warrant reducing it from $10 million.

Knight is due back in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom Sept. 17 on the murder case, along with a separate case in which he and comedian Micah “Katt” Williams are charged with robbery for allegedly taking a camera from a female paparazzo last September in Beverly Hills.

Mesereau says Suge suffers from numbness on one entire side of his body and doctors have told him he might have a brain tumor.

Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen made the ruling after reviewing a video of the incident that defense attorneys had described as a new, unedited, version of Knight running over two men with his pickup truck outside a Compton burger stand in January.

Knight’s legal team has maintained the position that he was “ambushed and fleeing an armed attacker” when he ran over and killed Terry Carter and seriously injured Cle “Bone” Sloan this past January. He’s also frustrated because the toilet in his cell flushes on its own every 20 minutes causing him to be up at all hours.

As such, he wants a place that has full access to a competent medical facility. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He’s now locked up on $10 million bail.
