Fan video from a 3 Doors Down concert in Broomfield, Colorado, on July 14 shows singer Brad Arnold stopping mid-song to berate a man who allegedly “hit a woman”.
Arnold promptly had the man ejected from the concert, earning cheers from the crowd.
“Hang on, hang on, hang on”.
Henderson also posted video in addition to his tweet with the caption, “Brad telling someone to not hit a woman! You just pushed a woman out of the way to get in a fight”, using an expletive to address the man. “Get him the hell out of here”, he added.
Arnold then asked security to “Get him the hell out of here”, resulting in cheers from the audience. Henderson commended Arnold, writing in his post, “Just another reason I’m proud to be in this band!!”
In an interview with Time, Henderson went into detail about the incident, and revealed a backstage discussion between the band mates about the decision to kick the fan out of the venue. Henderson told TIME that Arnold had never stopped a concert over a brawl before, but that this was “a pretty insulting incident”.
Following last night’s performance in Tulsa, 3 Doors Down will next be seen on Saturday in Hot Springs, Ark. followed by a concert in New Orleans on Sunday.
