Wayne has announced that he wants to play one more season in the National Football League before calling it quits. He missed not being able to attend his kid’s sporting events, instead relying on his wife to video record the games.
“Ideal is playing one more year and hanging it up”, Wayne said, via Eric Cox of RTV6. “I’ve been doing a lot of family time, enjoying the heck out of it. Once works call, that’s when I go to work”. He is ready to make his last season a great one.
According to oddsmakers fromonline sports book Bovada.lv, Wayne’s former team the Colts are 8/1 to win the 2016 Super Bowl. “I’m just thankful to be able to have healthy kids and all that stuff and be able to enjoy it”. He tore his ACL during the 2013 season, then had surgery to fix a torn triceps and had his knee scoped after last season.
“It’s weird ’cause this is one of my best years as far as being in the best shape that I’ve been in a while”, Wayne said. Wayne has played 13 seasons and racked up 1,070 receptions for 14,345 yards and 82 touchdowns.
“Reggie has given back to our community on and off the field, and I am thrilled to present him with the key to the city”, Ballard said.
