In the Tapper interview, Palin cottoned to the idea of being secretary of energy in a Trump administration.

“I don’t think because the child has one extra chromosome they should be able to snuff that life out”, Palin told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview that aired Sunday on “State of the Union”.

“I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby”.

“I don’t know what choosing to speak English or Spanish in a conversation, what that would have to do – somebody opposing it – with tolerance or not”, Palin explained.

Addressing President Barack Obama’s identify change of Mt. McKinley, the very best peak in North America, again to its native Alaskan identify Denali final week, Palin admitted the difficulty is divisive even amongst Alaskans.

She studied Spanish and French in high school, she noted, although she said she “shouldn’t have taken them both because I got them all mixed up by the time I graduated”.

Palin was asked if she took climate change seriously. Well, there are other glaciers though that are growing up here.

Palin added: “These blames on man’s activity, some of that I know is bogus”. Obama made visits to one of the thousands of glaciers that have been shrinking over the years in Alaska.

“How about while he was up here, he, as a president, carried a big stick, instead of a selfie stick?” she said.

Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said on Sunday that immigrants should speak “American” while visiting the United States.

Palin said, “Unlike most tourists, the President heads home now with his enormous fleet of transport vehicles – ironically after plenty of finger pointing on this Global Warming tour”.

On immigration, Palin responded to a spat between Trump and Jeb Bush over the former Florida governor’s ability to speak Spanish by saying immigrants to the U.S. should speak English first.
