“The Daily Show” airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. and repeats at 1:00 a.m. the same night (all times ET/PT).

President Obama will appear on The Daily Show before Jon Stewart turns over the desk to Trevor Noah.

President Obama will make his seventh and final appearance with Stewart on July 21.

Stewart announced earlier this year that he will be leaving “The Daily Show” after 16 years.

Obama is a fan of the late-show format, where he’s proved adept at jousting with hosts paid for their wit. He last stopped by the Comedy Central series during the 2012 presidential campaign.

(A previous version of this story included an incorrect date for Stewart’s last show.). The special will highlight fan-favorite clips and segments from the show. Along with whatever nostalgia both bring to the table, the plan is for Obama to discuss the recent USA deal with Iran. Afterward, he’ll head up to New York City for some levity and to, presumably, bid Stewart farewell.
