Motorola has finally sent out the official press invites to an event it has scheduled on July 28. Additionally significant news is the similarity in appearance of the Moto X third Gen to the Nexus 6 particularly that it bends along the top, and the designed backs of both of the Droid gadgets.

This comes on the tail of a handful of leaks suggesting that Motorola has some new devices in the works that are nearly due to be unveiled. Some leaked images have also appeared, though you should probably take it with a pinch of salt.

We’ve seen renders of Motorola’s 2015 revisions to their popular Moto G and Moto X lines for a few weeks now, including a recent “family photo”.

Invites shared for London, New York, and Sao Paulo events feature slightly different text, with the English versions reading, “Your relationship status is about to change”.

SlashGear also notes that the new Moto 360 won’t replace the original watch entirely. “A best friend will forever be ready to dance in the rain with you”.

So what do we get with the new Moto X?

It adds, “A better mobile relationship is on its way”.

Motorola has streamlined its portfolio of new devices to just a handful of products each year.

The leaks can’t confirm, however, if Moto G can be customized on Moto Maker. Pretty good options for a $179 phone, if that indeed is the price.

Yibada said the Moto X 2015 model will have AMOLED screens with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, which supports a claim by Android Origin that the device will have a 5.2-inch screen with a high pixel density that will surely amaze fans. The next generation device will pack a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and will be powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor. It sports the long pill-shaped frame for the rear camera with the Motorola dimple on the mid-part of the back.
