The hip-hop star was scheduled to perform at The Roxy in Hollywood Thursday night as the closing show in his four-day “Salute The Fans” mini-tour supporting his latest release, Dirty Sprite 2. However, Future plans to move the show to another local venue at a later date.

Sunset Boulevard between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Boulevard was shut down just before 2 hundreds of people gathered for a free concert late Thursday featuring rapper Future at the Roxy Theatre.

A representative for Future’s label, Epic Records, confirmed around 3:30 p.m. that the show had been canceled at the Roxy because people who didn’t get wristbands were refusing to leave the premises.

Sunset Boulevard was reopened to traffic by 5 p.m.

As said by KTLA, the House of Blues show was also eventually cancelled. Despite the cancellation, Future announced via social media that The House Of Blues would serve as the new venue for his Los Angeles show.

A large crowd filled the sidewalk and spilled onto Sunset Blvd.

Much later that evening, the “F**k Up a few Commas” artist tweeted that he was at the Supper Club.
