Coolpad is a Chinese telecommunications equipment company headquartered in Shenzhen and is the first largest smartphone company in China.
China-based brand (yes, another one) Coolpad which made its Indian entry recently with slew of Dazen phones, is now ready to hit the big stage with another Dazen device and it’s called Dazen Note 3. While there are no details on pricing options and availability, word is that the smartphone won’t cost more than Rs 10,000 ($155 / €140), which would be a great deal considering its specs. The phablet will go on sale via Snapdeal, and will be priced under Rs 10,000.
The new device Coolpad Dazen Note 3 was initially introduced in Chine last week.
Coming to the features of the device, the Dazen Note 3 sports a 5.5 inch HD screen. The device has 2GB RAM coupled with 16GB onboard storage.
The smartphone, which will support 4G LTE, will come with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and auto focus alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the back and front cameras will come with a CMOS sensor to provide better quality images. The company’s India CEO Varun Sharma said that it is possible that they might upgrade the phone to contain 3GB RAM before releasing it in India.
“Qiku will also launch its own 360 operating system in mid-August”, the company said in a statement. Coolpad entered the Indian market in May this year with its Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 smartphones.
