All three of these cars deliver punchier torque at lower revs, resulting in a quicker launch, and this lack of initial punch could push fringe buyers away from the R8 V10.
The German automaker has unleashed their R8 models and it is stated that the blazing model is apparently small but has enormous strength inside. The entry level auto, the board members said was expected to compete with the other powerful cards such as Mercedes-ANG GT S, McLaren 570 S, and Porsche 911 Turbo. Also it offers some 610 HP and can reach 60 miles per hour in less than 3.2 seconds.
The Audi company which was established in 1899 by August Horch and recognizable by its four ring insignia is giving the racing fans and aficionados the chance to test-drive its new-fangled R8 model turbocharged engine vehicle without any charge under the initiative of its “Supercars on Demand” program on Wednesday.
In this regard, one of the representatives of the Audi Automobile Corporation announced that it is imminent that Audi would have to manufacture a version of the Audi R8 with a turbocharged engine at some point to fray the competition. “It would be in this model cycle, to give us a fuller range… It’s quite unique to build naturally aspirated engines today and our customers love it. It doesn’t mean we are not going to do a turbo, but naturally aspirated is here to stay as well”.
Both models of the Audi R8 have the ability to touch a max speed of 200mph.
The two 5 cylinders engines of the R8 come with extra power, light weight providing abundant thrust to the R8. Although, people who have driven the Plus state they can feel a slight increase in the speed of 205mph, which is not much of a difference at least here.
The basic version of the Audi R8 is to be priced at $180,000, while the Plus variant will be priced at $205,000.
