Police in Modesto have named a person of interest who is likely armed and risky, in the case of five people found dead inside a Modesto home.

There was no immediate information on the victims or the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

Officers with the Modesto Police Department responded to the 2600 block of Nob Hill Court for a welfare and security check at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, a police representative said. They said he is known to drive a red 2000 Lincoln Navigator with the California license of 7CNN611.

Detectives were processing the crime scene.

Modesto is located in the state’s Central Valley.

The house on Nob Hill Court is in a tidy subdivision lined with four- and five-bedroom homes that were built seven or eight years ago, the Modesto Bee reports. Shawna Avery, who lives a street behind where the bodies were discovered, said it was quiet all day Saturday. “No place is safe anymore”, Lycan said.
