At last report, state police were concentrating their efforts in the town of Lee. Maine police officer are on a manhunt on a sex offender who shot four people.
Anthony Lord, 35, was arrested in Houlton, and a woman being held with him was safe, said Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety. He is described as being 5 foot 9, 263 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes, according to a statement from Maine State Police.

Their names and conditions are unknown. The license plate of the truck is 631745, the statement said.
The Bangor Daily News reported that the death of Lord’s six-month-old son on May 7 is under investigation after the boy was found unresponsive, but Maine police told the Press Herald they did not know if that death was connected to the shootings.
Lincoln police have set a roadblock at North Road and Route 6, which is about 2 miles from the high school.
